How much does counselling cost?
50-minute individual counselling session rates range between $150 – $165 per session. Couples counselling and family counselling rates start at $175 per 75-minute session. Neurofeedback sessions are $125 per session.How many counselling sessions do I need?
Everyone’s needs are different. You will need fewer sessions if there is one specific situation you need help with, and more sessions if what you are struggling with is more complex.
How often should I do counselling sessions?
Research shows that doing counselling once a week or once every two weeks initially brings the most positive outcome for therapy. As they start to feel better, many clients reduce session frequency to one every three or four weeks.
Is counselling covered under my extended benefits?
Yes, often it is. We encourage you to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover Registered Clinical Counsellors in BC.
Do you do direct billing?
We do not offer direct billing to your insurance provider, but we do produce automated email receipts after each session with all the information you’ll need to submit for reimbursement.
